Psalm 127:1

AB	Een bedevaartslied van Salomo.
SV	Een lied Hammaaloth, van Salomo. Zo de HEERE het huis niet bouwt, tevergeefs arbeiden deszelfs bouwlieden daaraan; zo de HEERE de stad niet bewaart, tevergeefs waakt de wachter.
WLC	שִׁ֥יר הַֽמַּֽעֲלֹ֗ות לִשְׁלֹ֫מֹ֥ה אִם־יְהוָ֤ה ׀ לֹא־יִבְנֶ֬ה בַ֗יִת שָׁ֤וְא ׀ עָמְל֣וּ בֹונָ֣יו בֹּ֑ו אִם־יְהוָ֥ה לֹֽא־יִשְׁמָר־עִ֝֗יר שָׁ֤וְא ׀ שָׁקַ֬ד שֹׁומֵֽר׃
Trans.	šîr hamm^a‘ălwōṯ lišəlōmōh ’im-JHWH lō’-yiḇəneh ḇayiṯ šāwə’ ‘āməlû ḇwōnāyw bwō ’im-JHWH lō’-yišəmār-‘îr šāwə’ šāqaḏ šwōmēr:

AC	א שיר המעלות לשלמה אם-יהוה לא-יבנה בית-- שוא עמלו בוניו בו אם-יהוה לא-ישמר-עיר שוא שקד שומר
ASV	Except Jehovah build the house, They labor in vain that build it: Except Jehovah keep the city, The watchman waketh but in vain.
BE	<A Song of the going up. Of Solomon.> If the Lord is not helping the builders, then the building of a house is to no purpose: if the Lord does not keep the town, the watchman keeps his watch for nothing.
Darby	{A Song of degrees. Of Solomon.} Unless Jehovah build the house, in vain do its builders labour in it; unless Jehovah keep the city, the keeper watcheth in vain:
